National Weather forecasts indicate mountain snows beginning Tuesday, Dec. 2. Snow expected to impact travel across all mountain passes & higher elevations beginning on Tuesday morning & spreading east into Wednesday. Front Range & eastern plains areas, including Denver & Monument Hill stretching south to Raton pass & Limon likely to see snow Wednesday morning. 

  • Commercial Transportation must have tire chains if traversing any Colorado mountain roadway
  • Passenger vehicles will need adequate snow tires or other traction devices.
