I-70 westbound is closed east of the Eisenhower Tunnel due to a vehicle fire. Westbound traffic is being turned around at Idaho Spring to return to Denver. Eastbound I-70 is also closed at the tunnel while the queued traffic is cleared using the EB lanes. Holiday traffic is very heavy and travelers should expect long delays. Travelers able to do so should wait out the closure in Denver.
